Uh yeah I think there are a couple of weird bugs going on around MT.. we tried to fix something, but I think we broke something else, like the update button disappeared DX ..as for the thumbnails, I can see them fine, but someone else also claimed that they can't see them. Can you see the icons and signature stuff, or is it just the thumbnails of the gallery items? It could be your connection, because I remember I can't see the thumbs using my school's wireless connection either... maybe they block it or something DX ... Um, I'm not sure what to suggest, 'cept check your browser settings to see if images from MT are blocked?

Yeah I like playing with my tablet ^__^ Ahhh Painter X.x it's so confusing >__< I'm still trying to figure out what all the buttons do.. I can't find a "normal" brush either, all the brushes have these weird effects ^^; ... but last time I used painter, I tried using the Gouche brush, then blend with the Blender, and I think that works kinda well. Tama-neko has made a couple of nice Painter tutorials: Working with brushes, walkthrough 1, another walkthrough.

As for outlining, if you've got a steady hand, I think you can just trace the outlines, esp if your tablet is pressure-sensitive. Not sure which brush to use with Painter though ' I prefer using openCanvas , it's so much easier to use than Painter, and very good with pressure sensitivity stuff.

Yeah, my first time was terrible. I couldn't even write properly.
Basically each part of the tablet corresponds to the screen (bottom left corner with pen on tablet goes to bottom left corner with mouse on screen etc. It only works if you install the driver btw... er, if you're using Wacom)

I still can't draw steady lines. Pretty much I sketch with tablet and detail with mouse...
Then again, 3 years mouse painting vs. 3 months tablet...

I'm using my sister's tablet. I want to get my own one someday but yeah, so expensive. TwT
And I spend all my money on video games and food. lol.

I'm actually more comfortable painting with a mouse than a tablet. (Tablet's are better for drawings, though, but otherwise, MOUSE ALL THE WAY!) lol.
